Meet Your 2022 Adjudicators
The Musical Ladder Festival is an annual online event designed to provide valuable performance feedback from professional music adjudicators and world class musicians. The festival is exclusive to students who attend Musical Ladder System affiliated music schools.
Rob Kinnear, B.Sc B.Ed (University of Western Ontario) B.M.A. Windsor University (Piano, Voice)
Rob brings 40 years of experience in youth and adult community music education to his work as an adjudicator. For 37 years, he taught Instrumental and Vocal music at the secondary school level while holding positions as artistic conductor and musical director for the Caledon Concert Band and many other community-based vocal, instrumental and theatrical groups. Rob has previously served as an adjudicator for Academy of Music Festivals as well as multiple CNE RisingStar competitions. Fun Fact: Rob performed as an opera singer for four seasons with the Michigan Opera Theatre!
Dan Rodrigues (Guitar, Violin, Viola)
Dan Rodrigues is a Canadian composer/music producer whose music is featured in videogames released on Nintendo, Playstation, Xbox and PC including Runbow, Double Cross, The Big Con and Dawn of the Monsters. He has also produced music for many TV shows and documentaries such as The Next Step, Lost and Found Music Studio, You and Me Hurray! Lets Play!, The Adventures of Napkin Man, Mary's Kitchen Crush, Daily Planet, The Moblees, the Netflix documentary Mucho Mucho Amore and well over 400 advertisements.
